FREN-2384 - Avante-Garde French Literature

This guide is meant to provide you with some starting points for research in FREN-2384 - Avant-Garde French Literature. This course explores representative works by major French writers (novelists, poets and playwrights such as Gide, Breton and Ionesco) from the beginning of the 20th century to the 1950s. The main trends and movements studied include la Belle Époque, Dada, surrealism, and the theatre of the absurd.
