The most frequently-used databases
JSTOR is a multidisciplinary collection of peer-reviewed journals, as well as books and primary sources published by various publishers and presses. It contains material across a range of disciplines from the sciences, social sciences and humanities.
The following databases are newly acquired or being evaluated for a future subscription.
Can-Core Academic Video contains current and relevant Canadian video content, including a significant amount of Indigenous content.

LawSource is a law resource that contains Canadian primary law, commentary, and editorial content enhancements and tools. It contains legal information including case law, decisions, and legislation (Statutes and Regulations); the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest which provides an overview of a legal topic along with sub-topics; the Canadian Abridgement, a comprehensive collection of over a million digests of Canadian case law organized by legal issue according to a single taxonomy (The Canadian Abridgment Key Classification System); the Index to Canadian Legal Literature (ICLL) a legal bibliography; and a collection of journals and law reviews. UWinnipeg's subscription does not include Sanagan's Encyclopedia of Words and Phrases.
PhilPapers is a comprehensive index of philosophy books and articles. PhilPapers offers unique features such as real-time indexing of pre-prints, fine-grained classification by topic, email alerts, reading lists, advanced search functionality, and discussion forums.
