Accessibility Services (AS) and Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) facilitate and promote the ongoing development of an accessible learning environment which provides students with disabilities, mental health concerns, medical conditions and temporary injuries the opportunity to participate fully in all aspects of campus life.
Our Accessibility Plan serves as a living document that will be modified and strengthened as the next four standards under the AMA are roll out. We remain committed to our principal objective of having a barrier-free campus and culture in which all members of our community positively benefit while participating in all aspects of an inclusive working and learning environment.
This encyclopedia represents the first attempt to bring an authoritative reference resource to the many faces of disability. More than 500 world-renowned scholars have written over 1,000 entries--in a clear, accessible style--with the desire to bring all students, researchers, and interested readers closer to the daily experience of disability.
