This Research Guide provides an overview of the Library's books and databases related to the documentation, preservation, teaching and revitalization of Indigenous languages, as well as external resources, reports and online tools.
In 2019, as part of the University of Winnipeg's Indigenous Summer Scholar Program, a student scholar indexed linguistic content in hundreds of books in the E99 section (ethnographies by tribe), documenting glossaries, vocabularies, pronunciation guides and pictographs. The search above provides access to the books documented so far.
