Electronic Resources
- Encyclopedia of Gender and Society (Online)Aims to provide a 'gender lens' on society by focusing on significant gender scholarship within commonly recognized areas of social research.
- Encyclopedia of Feminist Theories (Online)Covers major individuals, theories, developments and terms in feminist history and thought.
- Lesbian Histories and Cultures: An Encyclopedia (Online)Volume 1 of The Encyclopedia of Lesbian and Gay Histories and Cultures. Provides useful and thorough overviews of the topic.
- Routledge International Encyclopedia of Women : Global Women's Issues and Knowledge (Online)Provides a great range of topic entries, but does not include entries on individual women. This Encyclopedia also is available in print in the Reference collection.
- glbtq Archives (Online)This is a free resource that provides signed articles on the arts, social sciences and literature. Articles include bibliographies. This site contains extensive advertising.
